Role Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Senior Director, North America Marketing to lead all regional marketing and strategic event initiatives across the U.S. and Canada. This individual will drive the development and execution of go-to-market (GTM) programs that align with regional sales priorities and channel partner objectives — helping accelerate pipeline, increase brand awareness, and deepen market engagement.

This role requires a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and has experience balancing both regional field marketing and strategic event execution. The ideal candidate understands how to connect marketing strategy to revenue impact, build scalable programs, and motivate a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategy

    • Own the North America marketing strategy and execution, ensuring alignment to regional sales and channel goals.

    • Partner closely with Sales, Channel, and Global Marketing to build an integrated GTM plan for North America.

    • Lead a team of Regional Marketing Managers and Event Marketers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

    • Translate corporate priorities into impactful regional programs that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline.

  • Regional Marketing Execution

    • Develop and manage a portfolio of integrated campaigns tailored to key verticals, segments, and territories.

    • Build scalable programs that support account-based marketing (ABM), demand generation, and partner engagement.

    • Partner with field sales and SDRs to ensure marketing activities generate measurable outcomes and accelerate deal velocity.

  • Strategic Events & Experiences

    • Oversee all strategic events in North America — including hosted experiences, industry conferences, roadshows, and partner events.

    • Ensure all events deliver brand consistency, exceptional customer experiences, and measurable ROI.

    • Innovate with creative event concepts that differentiate the company and elevate executive engagement.

  • Measurement & Optimization

    • Define KPIs and performance metrics that align to pipeline, revenue, and regional growth goals.

    • Continuously analyze campaign and event performance to optimize effectiveness and budget allocation.

  • Team & Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing regional marketing team known for creativity, collaboration, and results.

    • Serve as the voice of the North American market, providing insights on trends, competitors, and customer behavior to influence global marketing strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Industry Experience: 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with proven experience in the cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise technology industries.

  • Leadership Experience: 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing regional marketing and/or events, including managing and developing high-performing teams.

  • GTM and Channel Expertise: Demonstrated track record of developing and executing integrated GTM strategies, with a deep understanding of channel ecosystems and partner-led motions.

  • Measurable Outcomes: Proven ability to define and execute strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes, specifically pipeline growth and revenue contribution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Growth Scaling Experience: Experience scaling marketing operations for a high-growth technology company.

  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with cybersecurity buyer personas, market trends, and industry frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS).

  • Advanced Degree: MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • Pipeline Metric Ownership: Experience in managing marketing-sourced/influenced pipeline targets and event lead-to-opportunity conversion rates.

  • Data Analysis: Experience analyzing campaign and event performance data for continuous optimization and budget allocation.

  • Insights Contribution: Experience serving as the voice of a regional market to influence global marketing strategy with local insights.
