The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Enterprise Data & Analytics to lead our business-facing initiatives. In this transformational role, the selected candidate will help shift our company to a modern D&A technology stack. The role involves shaping and executing our data strategy, leveraging advanced analytics to support business insights, and fostering a data-driven culture across the enterprise. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience with modern systems, data models, data management, data governance, data tools, analytics and reporting.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

  • Domain Thought Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise data and analytics strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Technology Leadership: Own, transform, evolve and operationalize a full stack of data & analytics technologies including warehouse, integrations, replication, translation, governance, & reporting.
  • Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance across the organization. Making sure to educate the company on the approach and value.
  • Analytics & Insights: Drive the development of advanced analytics platform capabilities, utilizing data to generate actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across all business units.
  • Team Development: Build out and lead a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, technology engineers, report writers while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Manage team and individual performance, holding the team and partners accountable to deliverables
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to identify key business challenges and opportunities, leveraging data and analytics to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data initiatives and analytics programs, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Training & Education: Provide training and resources to ensure staff at all levels understand data analytics concepts and tools, promoting a data-driven culture within the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Work Experience: 10+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing data strategy and analytics initiatives
  • Technical Must-Haves: Current knowledge of an using modern data tools like (Snowflake, Databricks, Boomi, FiveTran, Tableau, Power BI and others); Core experience with data architecture, data integrations, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance
  • Business Acumen: Career working closely with the business functions like sales, professional services, customer support, finance, and others where you have garnered a deep understanding of key business processes and where the business can use data to evaluate and drive results
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop diverse teams, with strong mentoring, coaching, and performance management skills
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex data concepts to technical and non-technical and executive audiences
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on translating data insights into actionable business strategies
  • Problem Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range: $215,000 - $275,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.  The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
