Location Details: USA Remote

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

At GoDaddy, Commerce is our top priority, and we're in search of a Senior Director Payments and Payouts. Our team’s mission is to enable SMBs to seamlessly sell everywhere (in-store, online, through social media). In this role, you will be the driving force to build the core payments capabilities that enable our SMB customers to succeed in their business. Your area of focus will be payments as a payfac, outsourced hardware and operating system of our POS devices, payouts and financial reporting.

What you'll get to do...

  • Product Strategy: Define a deep understanding of customer needs and establish key performance metrics. Define and drive our 1-3 year product vision, strategy and customer experience for payments, hardware, and payouts.
  • Product Execution: Strategically prioritize the product roadmap.
  • Leadership: You will encourage and mentor a seasoned team of product managers. Responsible for providing timely and actionable performance feedback, own mid-year reviews, focal reviews, and regular career discussions, to champion employee engagement and growth.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, business analytics, finance and accounting to execute on product development.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and Product Marketing to understand market requirements and determine capabilities needed to best serve our customers. Launch and scale initiatives in partnership with our Marketing, Care, and Legal teams. Working closely with risk and payouts teams including Product, UX, PMM, legal etc.
  • Systematically analyze data to discover opportunities, establish objectives and key results for your organization that align with broader business goals, supervise important metrics, and improve return on investment in your product portfolio.

 Your experience should include...

  • 10+ years of core Product Management experience in Commerce Payments and Payouts, including Card Present and Non present experience (in-person payments, eCommerce, introduce new payment methods (ex. GPay. APay, BNPL), disbursements, reconciliation etc.
  • Strong skills in product strategy, roadmap validation and execution, with a customer-centric perspective with a passion for deriving customer insights and translating them into effective product strategies
  • Significant experience, in leading and driving significant company initiatives with a focus on key business goals and effective execution. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with executives and demonstrable success in collaborating with key partners across multiple teams
  • Proven track record in leading and mentoring a team of experienced product managers.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Sciences).
