Position Overview
The Senior Director of AI and Data Science, Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), is responsible for shaping and executing the AI strategy to drive business value and operational excellence. This senior leadership role will define the AI vision and roadmap for the supply chain function, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and long-term strategy. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in governance, technology selection, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to embed AI capabilities—including advanced Vision AI solutions—across the ISC organization.
Responsibilities- Define and implement the overall AI vision and roadmap for the supply chain function, with a special emphasis on Vision AI technologies to enhance automation, quality assurance, and real-time decision-making.
- Align AI initiatives, including Vision AI projects, with business objectives and long-term corporate strategy.
- Represent ISC on the Corporate AI Governance Board and lead the approval process for AI use cases, including Vision AI applications.
- Identify and proactively mitigate risks associated with AI and Vision AI implementation.
- Drive the identification and prioritization of AI opportunities—including computer vision use cases such as visual inspection, anomaly detection, and process optimization—across the supply chain.
- Collaborate with SBG/Functional leaders to surface and evaluate potential use cases for Vision AI and other AI domains.
- Evaluate, select, and implement AI tools, platforms, and vendors to support ISC objectives, with a focus on scalable Vision AI architectures and solutions.
- Ensure scalability, security, and compliance of deployed AI and Vision AI solutions.
- Make informed Build vs. Buy decisions regarding Vision AI and broader AI technologies and capabilities.
- Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of AI experts—including specialists in Vision AI, Data Science, Generative AI, and Agentic AI.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team and broader organization, encouraging experimentation in Vision AI and related fields.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with Corporate IT, Corporate AI Governance, SBG and functional leads, external partners, and other cross-functional teams within the ISC digital organization to ensure seamless integration and adoption of Vision AI and other AI solutions within ISC processes and systems.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in AI, data science, or analytics, with significant leadership experience in supply chain or manufacturing environments.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing AI strategies at scale in complex organizations, including Vision AI deployments.
- Deep knowledge of AI technologies, platforms, and industry best practices, with demonstrated expertise in Vision AI methodologies and applications.
- Experience with AI governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks, including those relevant to Vision AI.
