Lilly Canada is currently looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to support its objectives in Immunology, specifically across Gastroenterology and Rheumatology.  The Digital Marketing Manager leads the planning, execution, and optimization of omnichannel digital marketing campaigns across HCP and consumer audiences. This role drives brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth by leveraging data-driven insights, emerging digital platforms, and integrated marketing strategies. The position ensures alignment with organizational objectives, Canadian regulatory standards (Health Canada, PAAB), and corporate governance.

At Lilly Canada, we have three levels for this positions based on the candidate’s experience, background, and qualifications. The expected compensation is:        

  • Associate: $64,875 - $95,150

  • Sr Associate: $83,250 - $122,100

  • Manager : $111,750 - $163,900                               

This role is eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as participation in the Lilly Bonus Program.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Campaigns

  • Develop and execute omnichannel digital marketing strategies across HCP and consumer segments
  • Plan and manage DTC campaigns: paid search, display, programmatic, video, social, and email
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate strategic priorities into integrated campaigns
  • Drive innovation by piloting emerging platforms and marketing technologies

Analytics & Optimization

  • Monitor campaign performance, consumer behaviour trends, and competitive insights
  • Collaborate with Business Insights and Analytics to evaluate campaign effectiveness

Operations & Budget

  • Manage resource allocation and a defined marketing budget with ROI evaluation and reporting
  • Ensure timely, cost-efficient execution of marketing programmes
  • Coordinate and manage external agencies and Canadian media vendors
  • Work closely with global and above country colleagues to leverage synergy and share key learnings
  • Oversight of a virtual sales professional

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all initiatives align with Health Canada, PAAB, and ASC advertising standards
  • Adhere to PIPEDA and CASL requirements for digital communications
  • Complete all company-based and job-related training within required timelines

Qualifications Required

  • 3–5 years of digital/omnichannel marketing experience
  • BA/BS degree from a recognized Canadian or equivalent institution
  • Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in deadline-driven environments
  • Knowledge of Canadian advertising regulations (PAAB, ASC, Health Canada)
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or Veeva)

Preferred

  • MBA or graduate certificate in Digital Marketing
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/French) greatly preferred
  • Experience working in a matrix structure
  • Familiarity with PIPEDA and CASL compliance
  • Strong storytelling, branding capabilities, with a stakeholder-first mindset
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sector in Canada

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$64,870 - $163,900

Full-time equivalent employees may also be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
