We’re seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead the design, automation, and operation of secure delivery pipelines for large-scale federal health systems. In this role, you’ll own the secure delivery platform that supports cloud-native applications, ensuring scalability, compliance, and resiliency across the full software lifecycle.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) with automated testing, security scans, and accessibility validation.
  • Automate deployments for .NET services, Dynamics 365 components, and cloud-native apps in Azure/AWS.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep) for environment provisioning and configuration.
  • Drive observability and incident response using Datadog, Dynatrace, or Azure Monitor with defined SLOs/SLAs.
  • Integrate DevSecOps practices into delivery pipelines, ensuring compliance with NIST, FedRAMP, and Section 508 standards.
  • Partner with engineering and security teams to improve system performance, resiliency, and modernization efforts.

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong background in DevSecOps, site reliability, or infrastructure engineering with experience in federal cloud environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with Azure cloud services and administration; familiarity with AWS GovCloud a plus.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline tools (Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Solid experience with IaC/CaC frameworks (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep).
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS preferred).
  • Scripting ability in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience integrating security automation (static analysis, dependency scanning, compliance as code) into pipelines.
  • Familiarity with VA Enterprise Cloud (EC), ATO processes, and accessibility test automation is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead technical decisions in complex environments.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. In alignment with federal contract requirements, certain roles may also require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance.

Compensation:

At Oddball, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.

United States Wage Range: $120,000 – $165,000
