- Support the migration of VA applications to cloud platforms, ensuring secure architecture design, seamless transitions, and post-migration stability.
- Utilize VA-approved tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub, ServiceNow) to document DevOps workflows, security configurations, and contribute to Biweekly Status Reports on pipeline status and security posture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve DevOps and security-related issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring high availability for VA corporate services and end-users.
- Integrate emerging technologies, such as containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) or Artificial Intelligence (AI), into DevOps processes, aligning with VA OIT’s modernization goals.
- Work with VA stakeholders, including the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Information Security Officer (ISO), to address security requirements and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

- Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to balance DevOps efficiency with robust security in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with VA security standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST, HIPAA) and the VIP Lean-Agile framework is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint) and VA-approved tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub, ServiceNow).
