Design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Manage IaC, containerized workloads, monitoring/alerting, and DevSecOps practices. Collaborate with development teams, ensure reliability and security, and mentor junior engineers.
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and optimize our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. In this role, you will collaborate closely with software developers and systems engineers to drive automation, improve system reliability, and enhance security protocols across our platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, build, and maintain robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision, manage, and scale cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Cloud Operations: Oversee cloud architecture on AWS, GCP, or Azure, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost optimization.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitoring & Alerting: Implement system monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK stack) to maintain system health and fast incident response.
- Security & Compliance: Integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) into the CI/CD pipeline, including vulnerability scanning and identity access management (IAM).
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Partner with cross-functional development teams to streamline release processes and mentor junior team members.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Systems Engineering roles.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience managing production environments on major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Infrastructure Automation: Strong proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
- Containerization: Expertise in Docker and orchestrating workloads with Kubernetes.
- Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell for task automation.
- Version Control: Deep understanding of Git workflows and repository management.
- Problem-Solving: Proven track record of troubleshooting complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA - Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
- Experience with database administration, caching, and networking technologies.
