Summary and Responsibilities:
The Senior DevOps Engineer will work to provide an enhanced server platform within a cloud-based architecture, utilizing Agile methodologies and standard DevOps practices. The Engineer will be a part of an integrated team, focusing on continuous improvement, operations efficiencies, and enhancing Track’s CI\CD pipeline.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Architect and build services and systems in both AWS (Multi-region) with a “Security-First” mindset.
- Container management with AWS EKS, AWS ECS, Kubernetes, Docker.
- Utilize scripting languages such as: terraform, ansible,bash.
- Build tools and utilize programming languages such as: Java, Python Javascript.
- Follow a continuous integration and continuous deployment model for server provisioning and application code deployment.
- Develop code deployment pipelines.
- Set configuration standards for cloud services, containers/microservices, automation, and Linux systems.
- Address escalated infrastructure issues, and monitor infrastructure components for performance, capacity, failures, and uptime.
- Work within time frames following change management processes to provide maximum uptime.
- Adhere to security policies along with working with audit teams.
- Research and remediate system vulnerabilities.
- Interact and coordinate with architects, developers, vendors, and internal business partners.
- Professionally represent the DevOps team as a technical consultant on projects.
- Maintain documentation of all Cloud infrastructure related components including build and modifications.
- Maintain a solid working knowledge of current infrastructure and future trends.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
Required Experience:
- Extensive experience with DevOps methodologies, processes, and framework.
- Automation expert with coding skills and a mindset to automate manual/repetitive tasks.
- Extensive scripting experience with Terraform, YAML, Python, Bash.
- Automation experience in Public cloud environments, with a strong understanding of infrastructure as code.
- Experience in CI/CD using tools such as Github/Github Actions or Gitlab orJenkins.
- Senior Linux engineering and administration skills.
- Container management with Kubernetes.
- Working experience with Nginx, PHP applications, and Apache Tomcat.
- AWS: 5+ years hands on administration and automation of various AWS services (ECS, EKS, EC2, LAMDA, S3, ALB/ELB, RDS, etc..).
- Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, Datadog, or Site24X7.
- Experience operating in an Agile based SDLC environment.
- A desire to iterate and continuously improve the environment.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high velocity environment.
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills.
- AWS cloud certification is preferred

Compensation:
The expected starting base salary range for this role is $150,000–$175,000, plus eligibility for a 10% annual incentive tied to company performance. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, and geographic location
