  • Monitor system health, performance, and security using modern stacks and OpenTelemetry
  • Design and implement scalable and resilient architecture solutions
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment workflows
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues
  • Establish best practices for infrastructure management and security
  • Mentor junior team members on DevOps practices and technologies

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in IT operations, systems engineering, or a similar role
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience in Go and/or Python
  • Strong experience with GitOps and infrastructure as code tools (ArgoCD, Flux, Terraform)
  • Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/Concourse)
  • Proficiency with monitoring, logging, and observability tools and practices (Prometheus Stack and OTel)
  • Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • You can explain Kubernetes to your non-technical friends without making their eyes glaze over
  • Knowledge of database administration (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
  • Experience with message brokers and event streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Familiarity with service mesh concepts (Envoy, Istio, Linkerd)
  • Experience with GitOps workflows
  • Contributions to open-source projects
  • Your infrastructure diagrams are works of art (or at least comprehensible)
  • Experience leading technical projects and mentoring other engineers

Team Culture

  • Our infrastructure team handles more layers than a well-designed Kubernetes cluster
  • We're like Git - always ready to commit to good ideas and branch out when needed
  • "Move fast and fix things" is our motto (we're not breaking production on Fridays)

What we offer

  • Innovative Product Company: Be part of a company with a long-term vision that values sustainable growth.
  • High-Performing Team: Join a talented team that supports your professional growth and values your expertise.
  • Career Growth: Opportunity to step up as a Backend Lead, leading projects and mentoring other team members.
  • Impactful Work: Take ownership of projects that directly affect our users, product, and business strategy.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Enjoy medical insurance, sport compensation, and other perks that support your well-being.
  • Flexible Work Arrangement: B2B contract with a US-based company, allowing for a remote-first setup that fits your lifestyle.
