Reliance Health is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Data Scientist to lead our efforts in harnessing data to improve healthcare outcomes and drive business growth. The team is relatively unestablished, so this is a greenfield opportunity to help shape the future of the function and to take a leading role in varied and high-value initiatives.

Job Details

  • Develop and implement advanced data analytics and machine learning models to solve complex problems in areas such as risk assessment, customer segmentation, fraud detection, and predictive modelling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions and strategy.
  • Design and build data-driven products and services to enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency.
  • Develop with modularity, repeatability and scalability in mind.
  • Conduct rigorous data analysis to inform decision-making and present findings to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and healthcare; evaluate and recommend new tools and approaches to improve existing systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
Requirements

Must have:

  • Five year’s experience within Data Science roles OR three years’ experience within Data Science roles with at least a Masters Degree in a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, or Similar
  • A problem solvers mindset, with the ability to consider a problem from multiple angles and identify appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills; you are able to translate the complex into actionable, understandable business insight.

Nice to have:

  • Experience within the healthcare or insurance industries.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Technical experience leading projects throughout their lifecycle; from scoping, development and putting them into production.
