The Wealth Management Data Solutions (WM DS) organization provides direct technology support for core engineering products, operational data products and data analytics. About this role:

Wealth Management Data Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Modeler who is not only experienced in designing robust data models but also enthusiastic about expanding their skill set in development areas as Python, ETL tools, and database design. In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives within Technology and contribute to large scale data processing framework initiatives related to enterprise strategy deliverables
  • Build and maintain optimized and highly available data pipelines that facilitate deeper analysis and reporting
  • Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Oversee the data integration work, including developing a data model, maintaining a data warehouse and analytics environment, and writing scripts for data integration and analysis
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead teams to meet data engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of data information policies, procedures and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with colleagues and managers to resolve data engineering issues and achieve strategic goals

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Data Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2 + years of experience working with PowerDesigner, ER/Studio, ERWin, Hackolade or equivalent modeling tool
  • Strong understanding of relational and dimensional modeling techniques
  • Solid SQL skills and understanding of data systems (e.g., SQL, Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience working in a data warehouse or enterprise data environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity or interest in ETL processes, and tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi, etc.)
  • Python development and other scripting/data transformation tools
  • Familiarity with Kafka
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Wealth Investment Management business knowledge
  • Prior experience in the financial industry
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Exposure to big data technologies and distributed systems
  • Background in agile environments and cross-functional team collaboration

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • Position offers a hybrid work schedule

      Pay Range
       

      Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

      $84,000.00 - $149,400.00
