Senior Data Engineer

Build data pipeline and applications to solve marketing related problems. Improve marketing solutions such as attribution, prioritization and targeting and participate in evaluation tasks for adopting new data tools/technology that will enrich Red Hat’s marketing capabilities.

*Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.
 

What You Will Do:

• Help support the adoption of new technology to better the marketing landscape and work with data scientists and analysts to increase marketing’s return on investment.
• Help guide data science practices for the team and support delivery of projects.
• Stay abreast and advocate for best practices in the field of data science to apply to projects in line with the company's objectives.
• Help support deployment and maintenance of data science models used in production.
• Adhere to Red Hat’s security guidelines while deploying software in production and support cross functional projects to better enhance Red Hat’s data science capabilities.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related role.
• Must have three (3) years of experience with: database programming languages and developing in big data languages; scripting languages and working with object storage; Data modeling and Analysis in R or Python; and REST APIs.
• Must have two (2) years of experience with: Automation and Quality Control in tools; and cloud application development in Openshift or Kubernetes.

The salary range for this position is $106,910 - $176,470. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
