About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Engineering to develop and implement data pipelines and analytical reporting technology efforts for WM Data Solutions. In this role, you will develop ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) application supporting reporting and analytics. This Senior Data Engineer will develop and implement scalable data engineering solutions, ensuring alignment with the enterprise standards, strategic business and product objectives. In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives within Technology and contribute to large scale data processing framework initiatives related to enterprise strategy deliverables

  • Build and maintain optimized and highly available data pipelines that facilitate deeper analysis and reporting

  • Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

  • Oversee the data integration work, including developing a data model, maintaining a data warehouse and analytics environment, and writing scripts for data integration and analysis

  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead teams to meet data engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of data information policies, procedures and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with colleagues and managers to resolve data engineering issues and achieve strategic goals

  • Develop systems monitoring to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk

  • Developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies

  • Refactoring and Reengineering legacy SQL Server and MS access-based dependencies

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Data Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years working in an Agile or Kanban development environment

  • 3+ years of working with DevOps CI/CD tools (GitHub or Jenkins)

  • 3+ years of experience with SQL Server database design and development

  • 3+ years of experience with Python development

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ Microservice, Restful API, and Containerization Design and Development

  • 3+ Years of developing enterprise-scale data modeling and pipeline engineering

  • 3+ Years of developing modern data pipeline design, development and orchestration

  • 3+ Power BI or Tableau Reporting Development

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work onsite at one of the posted locations

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
