We are currently hiring for a 12-month fixed-term opportunity within our Data Analytics Team.

We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative and social purposes.

What you’ll do as a Senior Data Analyst: 

  • Be the go-to data expert for business decision support: Conduct problem research, deep-dive analysis, apply advanced analytics and ML techniques to uncover trends and insights, design high-impact reports and visuals to tell compelling data stories that inspire action and shape our offerings and operations.

  • Lead the way on strategic projects: Tackle complex challenges and enable data solutions using standard and advanced analytics, automation, business intelligence, opportunity analysis, forecasting, and simulations.

  • Innovate for tomorrow: Design and implement experiments that directly influence our customer experience, helping us stay ahead of the curve. Spot new analytics opportunities that propel our business forward, improve our practices to increase business outcomes and be the catalyst for positive change.   

  • Build the tools of transformation: Help us get to the future by gradually developing and maintaining scalable reporting and machine learning models that empower business and tech teams with self-serve access to actionable descriptive and predictive insights.

  • Become a trusted advisor: Build a deep understanding of needs and goals of our stakeholders, help see possibilities, guide through complexity, influence decisions and develop data solutions to help business succeed.

  • Champion for growth and collaboration: Nurture the analytics community, help establish new standards, best practices and frameworks, mentor and inspire fellow analysts by sharing knowledge, peer reviews, and brainstorming sessions.

What we’re looking for: 

  • A minimum of 4+ years of senior analytics experience executing enterprise analytics initiatives, managing data transformation, automation, analysis, reporting, ML simulations, and business insights in a retail setting.

  • Mastery of analytics tools and techniques to drive results using SQL (including optimization), Python (data prep and wrangling, analysis, visualization, ML, automation), and Power BI (data modeling, DAX, M, dashboard UX design).

  • Experience breaking down complex business problems into actionable data solutions using statistical methods, modeling, or machine learning.

  • Experience partnering with diverse stakeholders where you make complex data concepts clear and engaging for everyone from executives to frontline teams.

Annualized Compensation Range

$95,000.00 - $105,000.00

Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
