About ShyftLabs

At ShyftLabs, we live and breathe data. Since 2020, we’ve been helping Fortune 500 companies unlock growth with cutting-edge digital solutions that transform industries and create measurable business impact. We’re growing fast and we’re looking for passionate problem-solvers who are ready to turn big ideas into real outcomes.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Data Storyteller - a curious, insight-driven analyst who thrives on digging deep into data to uncover the "why" behind the numbers. At ShyftLabs, you won’t just move data around; you’ll turn raw numbers into powerful narratives and visualizations that inspire action.

You’ll be a great fit if you enjoy exploring data with minimal direction, connecting metrics to business realities, and building sleek, engaging dashboards that make complex ideas simple for our clients.

What you'll do

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of analytics solutions that evaluate campaign performance across onsite, offsite and CRM media channels.
  • Build and manage dashboards, KPIs, and reports that support internal teams and advertiser needs.
  • Drive media attribution, incrementality testing, and ROI analysis to validate campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop customer segmentation, behavioral insights, and targeting strategies using first-party data.
  • Translate complex datasets into actionable business insights and compelling data stories.
  • Support pre- and post-campaign analysis and performance reviews with external brand partners.
  • Identify trends and patterns in sales, customer behavior, and media engagement to inform strategy.
  • Ensure data governance, accuracy, and compliance with privacy standards and organizational policies.
  • Ability to interact effectively and deliver compelling messages to stakeholders across various band levels and client partners.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, BI or a related field.
  • Strong SQL skills - able to write complex queries efficiently across large datasets.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools: Looker, Tableau or Power BI.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills - able to distill complexity into clarity.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, preferably in retail, e-commerce or consumer analytics.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of metrics, KPIs and data validation best practices.
