Role: Data Analyst

Work Location: USA - Remote

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced data analysis and manage large scale data systems to support business decision-making.
  • Lead data management initiatives across diverse (Re)insurance segments including US P&C, International Markets, and Life, Accident & Health.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data models, ETL workflows, and data processing pipelines using SSIS, Python, Databricks, and related technologies.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and insights using Power BI, SQL, Spark, and other BI tools.
  • Ensure high-quality documentation for data analysis, data management, and reporting pr cesses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to drive data-driven solutions and improvements.
  • Provide technical leadership within the data team, fostering collaboration and guiding junior team members.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, managing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Influence stakeholders and contribute effectively to strategic initiatives across the organization.
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data analysis and data management.
  • 4+ years of experience in the (Re)insurance domain across US P&C, International Markets, and Life, Accident & Health.
  • Strong expertise with business intelligence and query tools: Power BI, SQL, Spark.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling and data processing frameworks such as SSIS, Python, and Databricks.
  • Excellent documentation skills in data management and reporting.
  • Strong organizational, written, verbal, and presentation capabilities.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical-thinking skills, particularly around data management.
  • Proven ability to work independently with limited oversight.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to drive solutions and foster teamwork.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, adapt to change, and prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across global teams and all organizational levels.
  • Motivated, team-oriented, with strong problem-solving and project management skills.
