As a Senior Transportation Analyst, you will conduct an in-depth analysis of transportation data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. You will collaborate with team members to understand their analytics needs and the best possible solutions. responsibilities will include developing, refining, and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of transportation operations.
How you will achieve success:
- Strategy: This role requires equal parts strategic thinking, project management, analytical chops, and the ability to drive execution.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously develop new processes and enhance existing ones. Frame and solve new problems by leading through a process of discovery, test-and-learn, or rapid prototyping.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels. Strong in developing standard rhythms & reports to highlight the right information up/down and across the organization.
- Influence: Cross-functional coordination and coaching/training/clear communication, including partnering with our Software teams to achieve scalable technology solutions & associated business processes
- Hands-on & Results-Driven: We are a hands-on company. You will be expected to dive in where needed to work side-by-side with employees at all levels of the organization to help them drive results.
What experiences will help you in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience with Excel and in business analytics.
- 2-5 years of experience with SQL.
- 2-5 years of experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
- Experience with Python and Snowflake is a nice-to-have.
