  • Architect and validate semantic reporting layers and data models that support scalable, reusable, and user-driven analytics

  • Collaborate with solution architects and engineers to redesign reporting logic from static Oracle OBIEE reports to a cloud-native Databricks + Azure environment

  • Oversee the migration planning, including dependency mapping, technical specification, and data quality assurance

  • Work directly with stakeholders to uncover hidden logic in legacy reports and convert it into modular components that are easier to manage, validate, and scale

  • Design and guide the creation of BI/Reporting frameworks that enable AI-ready analytics and future automation

  • Translate high-level business needs into detailed technical requirements for ETL development, data modeling, dashboarding, and ML integration

  • Provide leadership in data validation, QA, and business rule traceability to ensure trust in every reporting output

  • Serve as the primary liaison for cross-team communication, aligning priorities across business, data, and engineering stakeholders

  • Work with Project Manager, Data/Solution Architect and Development team to plan and manage Agile Sprints for product delivery.

  • 7+ years of experience in data analysis, BI solution design, and reporting system transformation

  • US Citizen or Permanent Lawful Resident (Green Card Holder) preferred.

  • Employment must be compliant with eligibility for Public Trust Clearance due to Government Contract.

What we’d like you to have:

  • Demonstrated experience leading or co-leading large-scale reporting modernization initiatives

  • Deep proficiency in SQL for complex joins, transformations, and validation at scale

  • Strong understanding of Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, or similar platforms

  • Experience with data profiling, source-to-target mapping, and modular report development frameworks

  • Expertise in developing semantic layers, reusable datasets, and standardized metrics across BI platforms

  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker for analysis and dashboard validation

  • Experience modernizing complex legacy BI environments, including identifying report logic embedded in hard-coded systems

  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration points within analytics workflows, such as feature engineering, output validation, and explainability

  • Understanding of data lakehouse architectures, Delta Lake, and real-time streaming use cases

  • Experience creating automated validation frameworks and supporting ML-enabled QA pipelines

  • Proven ability to connect the dots between business value, data design, and visual storytelling

  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and automation in modern SDLC for analytics deployment

  • Ability to coach others in data governance, semantic alignment, and documentation standards for reporting ecosystems
