About the Role & Team

Our mission is to develop high-quality and sustainable data-driven solutions to improve profitability, growth and the user experience. As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll work with all the key stakeholder groups to help them leverage data to track performance, make better decisions and ultimately reach their goals. The ideal candidate has strong communications skills, a passion for data, a background in quantitative analysis and an interest in professional sports, betting & eSports.  

About the Work 

As a key member of our Analytics team you will:

  • Identify business opportunities and present data-driven recommendations to business stakeholders.
  • Work with complex datasets to answer ambiguous questions and uncover new insights on product features.
  • Develop a deep understanding of how users interact with ESPN Bet / Hollywood Casino / theScore Bet / theScore apps and websites.
  • Collaborate with Analytics Engineers to design and optimize data pipelines to improve data model performance.
  • Help with implementation & adoption of a data exploration tool across the organization.
  • Stay on top of emerging trends in media, sports betting, analytics & marketing industries.

About You

  • 4+ years of work experience in data analytics or data science roles
  • University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries with minimal guidance
  • Experience with data exploration tools such as: Looker, Mode, Amplitude
  • Experience with data transformation tools such as DBT Cloud and DBT Core
  • Passionate and curious about solving complex analytical problems using quantitative approaches.
  • Ability to focus in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Eagerness to learn from others and help others grow with you.

Salary Range
$100,000$130,000 USD
