Our Data Analysts play a pivotal role in empowering the Calendly team with strategic insights into user acquisition, conversion, retention, and overall business performance, specifically within the growth domain. This role sits on the Product Analytics team, which is a part of the centralized Analytics team alongside Reporting Analytics and User Insights. Together, our team is positioned to help Calendly become a data-driven, customer-obsessed organization.
The Product Analytics team enables Calendly to understand and accelerate user growth across the entire funnel through actionable insights and data-informed strategies. We do this by driving experimentation, optimizing go-to-market levers, analyzing product feature behaviors, and aligning these insights with Calendly’s broader growth objectives. A day in the life of a Senior Data Analyst at Calendly
Utilize your deep product expertise and advanced analytics skills to drive decision-making across the organization. This role is responsible for conducting in-depth analyses, owning experimentation from end to end, developing event tracking plans, and delivering impactful reports to measure the effectiveness of features. Working closely with business stakeholders, the analyst translates complex business questions into structured analyses, supports experimentation through data collection and test design, and provides strategic recommendations. A strong commercial mindset is essential, as the role requires the ability to size up ambiguous problems, identify opportunities, and guide the team toward actionable insights.
On a typical day, you will be working on:
- Partnering with cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Revenue, Design, and Lifecycle to define analytics and experimentation roadmaps and identify growth opportunities
- Designing and analyzing A/B tests to validate hypotheses and optimize acquisition, activation, and retention strategies
- Define success metrics and measure impact of AI-driven initiatives, ensuring models deliver meaningful user and business value
- Ensuring analytics outputs are accurate, timely, and aligned with Calendly’s business goals
- Representing growth levers and business objectives in cross-functional planning and strategy discussions
- Applying statistical methods to uncover insights related to product usage (e.g., conversion funnel analysis, cohort retention, lifecycle segmentation, LTV modeling, and churn prediction)
- Building and maintaining dashboards that surface key growth trends and enable stakeholders to self-serve insights effectively
What do we need from you?
- Deep knowledge of A/B testing statistics and experimentation end to end design
- Proficient in Python programming for developing advanced analytics solutions and automation scripts
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data analysis/visualization tools like Hex
- Experience with AI-powered features, including evaluating model performance and user interaction patterns
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, translating data insights into actionable growth strategies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to translate detailed data into clear, actionable recommendations, bridging technical and business perspectives
- Inquisitive mindset for uncovering insights and opportunities through data, driving continuous improvement

The ranges listed below are the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change.
Calendly takes a number of factors into consideration when determining an employee’s starting salary, including relevant experience, relevant skills sets, interview performance, location/metropolitan area, and internal pay equity.
Base salary is just one component of Calendly’s total rewards package. All full-time (30 hours/week) employees are also eligible for our Quarterly Corporate Bonus program (or Sales incentive), equity awards, and competitive benefits.
Calendly uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location, or the onsite building location if hybrid, to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current geographic zones are as follows:
- Tier 1: San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA, New York City, NY
- Tier 2: Chicago, IL, Austin, TX, Denver, CO, Boston, MA, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, PA, Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, Miami, FL, and all other cities in CA.
- Tier 3: All other locations not in Tier 1 or Tier 2
