About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Science Consultant in Channel Marketing Sciences as part of Consumer Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. This enterprise COE team is responsible for driving effectiveness of marketing channels with data enablement, measurement, and optimization insights across owned and paid marketing channels. Successful candidate will be part of our team in owned media channel with responsibility to produce analytics for marketing placements and funnel optimization across the website and mobile app. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

In this role, you will:

  • Institutionalize and evolve enterprise measurement frameworks and solutions to assess performance of owned media marketing across the business and customer journeys across our websites and mobile app.
  • Review and analyze moderately complex, large structured and unstructured data sets from various sources, requiring an in-depth hypothesis generation and advanced analysis of variable factors to convert data into meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Interpret and analyze data, using advanced analytics modeling methods and programming, to recommend ways to solve problems and influence business decisions and strategies
  • Develop reports and data visualizations to deliver and scale the business insights
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to drive recommendations and strategies based on data-driven analytical insights, trends, and patterns that will resolve issues and achieve goals; may lead projects, teams, or serve as a mentor for lower-level staff
  • Execute analytical experiments and create innovative statistical models to discover solutions for abstract business problems across various domains
  • Communicate actionable insights and recommendations using data in a digestible format to a non-technical audience of varying levels
  • Act as a subject matter expert and stay curious on evolving marketing technology landscape and drive innovative applications of those in the business.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of data science experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science

Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in digital and site analytics preferably with Adobe tools like Adobe Analytics or Customer Journey Analytics
  • 4+ years of experience in understanding, defining and quality control of website and app tagging
  • 4+ years of experience in data programming experience with proven expertise in Hive, Python and/or BigQuery

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$96,600.00 - $206,100.00
