This role partners closely with Production Operations, Engineering, Product, and Analytics teams to translate complex operational data into actionable insights that improve platform stability and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

  • Design and build scalable data monitoring solutions that proactively detect issues and improve platform reliability
  • Develop dashboards, recurring reports, and self-service analytics that provide visibility into system health and operational performance
  • Partner with Engineering and Production Operations to investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend data-driven solutions
  • Identify monitoring gaps and implement new metrics and alerts to improve incident detection and response
  • Translate business and operational questions into structured analyses, actionable insights, and clear recommendations
  • Collaborate across teams to improve data quality, reporting consistency, and operational decision-making

What success looks like

  • You consistently deliver accurate, actionable, and high-quality analysis that enables stakeholders to make informed decisions with confidence.
  • You take ownership of ambiguous operational problems and independently drive them from investigation through clear, data-driven recommendations.
  • You build trusted dashboards, monitoring solutions, and analytical datasets that are scalable, maintainable, and easy for others to use.
  • You proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, AI, and modern analytics tools.
  • You help establish a data-driven operational culture by delivering reliable insights that improve platform stability and incident response.

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
  • Strong SQL skills with experience analyzing large-scale, high-volume datasets
  • Experience using Python or similar tools for data analysis, automation, and data transformation
  • Experience building dashboards, reporting solutions, and data visualizations for technical and business stakeholders
  • Knowledge of database design, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and modern data platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex operational issues
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering and operations teams in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with Apache Spark, BigQuery, or similar modern analytics platforms is a plus
  • Experience in AdTech, MarTech, digital advertising, or media is a plus
