Wander is seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to fortify our digital defenses and ensure the highest standard of cyber threat preparedness. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and evolving our cybersecurity measures across all organizational systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and policies

  2. Manage and enhance multi-factor authentication systems, including YubiKey deployment

  3. Oversee security for all organizational SaaS applications, integrations, and data systems

  4. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments

  5. Implement and maintain robust endpoint protection systems

  6. Design and manage secure network architectures, including firewalls and VPNs

  7. Develop and conduct cybersecurity awareness training for all employees

  8. Implement and manage a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system

  9. Respond to and mitigate security incidents and breaches

  10. Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

  2. 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles

  3. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)

  4. Experience with multi-factor authentication systems and YubiKeys

  5. Proficiency in implementing security measures for cloud-based services and SaaS applications

  6. Familiarity with compliance standards relevant to the travel and hospitality industry

  7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  8. Strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM)

  2. Experience in the travel or hospitality industry

  3. Knowledge of AI and machine learning in cybersecurity applications

  4. Familiarity with DevSecOps practices
