About the Team

HubSpot has been on a remarkable growth journey — now a $3B+ ARR company growing 20% year-over-year — and our Corporate Strategy team sits at the heart of what comes next.

We partner directly with the CEO, executive team, and Board of Directors to define and accelerate HubSpot’s long-term strategy. Our mission is to identify the biggest opportunities ahead, understand the risks, and translate strategic bets into actionable plans across the business.

As trusted thought partners to leaders across Product, GTM, and Operations, we help shape how HubSpot grows better for our customers and our people.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Corporate Strategist, you will play a critical role in tackling the most important strategic questions facing HubSpot’s executive team. You’ll assess new growth vectors, evaluate competitive and ecosystem dynamics, and explore how emerging technologies (including AI) will reshape our business model and operating approach.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who combines analytical rigor with structured problem-solving and strong executive communication. You’ll own meaningful workstreams end-to-end, influence senior leaders, and help translate long-term strategy into operational direction.

You will report to a Senior Manager on the Corporate Strategy team and collaborate closely with leaders across the company.

Why HubSpot

At HubSpot, strategy isn’t just a plan — it’s how we operate. You’ll join a company that values curiosity, autonomy, and growth, and where your insights directly shape decisions that impact millions of businesses worldwide.

We operate by our Culture Commitments: Solve for the Customer, Be Bold - Learn Fast, Align Adapt & Go, and Deliver with HEART. These values shape how we collaborate, make decisions, and execute every day.

Corporate Strategy is also a springboard for future leaders: alumni of this team have gone on to meaningful Product, GTM, and Operations roles across HubSpot.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead high-priority workstreams within executive-level strategy projects that inform CEO- and Board-facing decisions.
  • Develop hypotheses, structure analyses, and synthesize insights from customer research, market intelligence, financial modeling, and competitive assessments.
  • Build rigorous business cases that quantify opportunity size, risk, and investment trade-offs.
  • Partner with leaders to co-create solutions that balance strategic ambition with operational feasibility.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, concise presentations and memos that influence strategic priorities and capital allocation decisions.
  • Contribute meaningfully to the annual strategic planning process, helping connect long-term bets to near-term operating plans.
  • Stay ahead of trends in SaaS, SMB, and AI, developing a clear point of view on how shifts in the market affect HubSpot’s trajectory.
  • Be a culture carrier and uphold HubSpot’s leadership principles in how you operate.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3–5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, private equity, or strategy & operations roles within high-growth companies.
  • Strong hypothesis-driven problem-solving skills with the ability to connect disparate inputs into clear strategic narratives.
  • Experience independently owning complex analyses end-to-end, including financial modeling and qualitative synthesis.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and structuring undefined problems into actionable workplans.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complexity into clarity for senior audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Deep curiosity about technology, software, and the future of SaaS, with a strong pulse on AI’s evolving impact.
  • A growth mindset aligned with HubSpot’s commitment to Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging.
