Scopely is looking for a Senior Corporate Brand & Communications Manager to join our Corporate Brand & Communications team on a hybrid basis in our Culver City studio hub! We will also consider candidates remotely within the US.

What  You’ll Do

This person will help shape and amplify Scopely’s story across the global games, entertainment, and business landscape, spotlighting iconic, genre-defining titles like MONOPOLY GO!, Pokémon GO, Stumble Guys, MARVEL Strike Force, and Star Trek Fleet Command. This is a highly visible, externally facing opportunity for a strategic and creative communications professional who thrives on big ideas, strong media relationships, and flawless execution.

You’ll drive proactive, impactful storytelling that strengthens Scopely’s overall brand narrative while elevating individual games across multiple genres. Working closely with senior leaders and external partners, you’ll bring sharp media instincts, exceptional writing skills, and relentless curiosity to manage multiple high-stakes initiatives and define how Scopely shows up in the world. You will:

  • Lead proactive media strategy: Identify, develop, and pitch compelling stories that elevate both Scopely’s corporate brand and our individual games across business, games, entertainment, and culture media
  • Cultivate strong media relationships: Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with top-tier journalists and influencers across a wide range of genres and outlets
  • Tell big, bold stories: Constantly look for creative, innovative, and breakthrough ways to tell Scopely’s stories—whether through press, events, thought leadership, or new formats
  • Be a standout writer: Draft and edit high-quality press releases, pitches, messaging frameworks, talking points, and internal briefing materials with precision and voice
  • Speaker and executive support: Prepare executives and spokespeople for media engagements through briefing documents, speaker training, and rehearsal
  • Coordinate announcements and events: Lead communications for product launches, partnerships, industry moments, and live or virtual events—ensuring every detail is aligned and polished
  • Drive projects forward: Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, maintaining momentum, alignment, and attention to detail from idea to execution
  • Build internal relationships: Partner closely with teams across the country—including product, marketing, and game makers—to deeply understand the business and surface great stories
  • Spot opportunities early: Stay on top of cultural, industry, and media trends to proactively identify opportunities for Scopely to show up in relevant, timely ways
What We’re Looking For
  • 7+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or media relations, ideally within games, entertainment, technology, or consumer brands
  • A proven track record of securing impactful media coverage and driving proactive storylines
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent media instincts and sound judgment under pressure
  • Experience working directly with senior executives and acting as a trusted communications partner
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing momentum
  • A collaborative mindset and genuine curiosity to learn complex businesses and products
  • Comfort building relationships across geographies and functions
  • Creative thinker who consistently brings new ideas and challenges the status quo
  • Self-starter with the drive to go after big stories and make things happen

For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY, and WA, the annual salary range is provided below. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
