Role overview
The Copywriter will report directly to the Director of Brand Marketing and ideate, write, and edit a variety of copy for everything from ads and emails to in-app features. In addition, the copywriter will support our Senior Content Manager with editing and providing feedback on blog posts, video scripts, and more.
The above will, of course, need to maintain Brigit’s persona and tone of voice. We are looking for a copy enthusiast with strong conversion copywriting chops who can also think conceptually, write creatively, and put themselves in our users shoes.
What you have
5-7+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in a fast-paced, results-driven setting with a portfolio of work to share.
The chops to create a broad range of copy. Pitchy ad copy or a 30 character headline? Mastered. Distilling complex product verbiage into easy-to-understand value props and how-tos? No problem. Conversion copywriting for AB tests? Check. Direct response emails? Professional.
Experience writing for App Store Optimization and search engine marketing—you need to be able to blend the art and the science of keywords and conversion.
Some passion for, or knowledge of, the fintech space, paired with a proactive eagerness to understand our customers, interview internal stakeholders, and learn on the fly.
Comfortable writing for multiple projects on varying deadlines, working with cross-functional leads for course correction and buy-in.
Experience collaborating with external creative agencies and freelancers.
What you’ll be doing
Crafting copy for everything from emails to in-app product descriptions, website, and more.
Maintaining brand consistency: Ensuring all written material maintains a consistent tone and voice to reinforce brand identity.
Collaborating across teams on copy needs—CRM, product, content marketing, social media, and user acquisition.
Editing and being a second set of eyes on any copy produced by other teams.
Regularly audit copy across the ecosystem to ensure consistency.
Compensation
The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $110,000 - $145,000.
