About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Control Management Specialist supporting our Consumer and Small Business Banking Control Management group.
In this role, you will:

Participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within Control Management functional area
-
Provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls
-
Monitor moderately complex business specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
-
Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
-
Provide guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of business specific programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risk
-
Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations
-
Be responsible for ensuring Branch Banking's adherence to risk management policy requirements that apply to Wells Fargo’s Branch network
-
Work closely leaders across Branch Banking, the Control Management organization, and the company in the development and execution of Risk Management controls.

Demonstrate leadership capability; they will be impressive in their interpersonal effectiveness and with regard to their accomplishments.
Required Qualifications:
-
4+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education
Desired Qualifications:
-
Experience or participation in Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) methodologies.
-
Experience with issue management activities including root cause analysis and corrective action planning and monitoring.
-
In-depth knowledge of risk and control identification.
-
Branch Banker Operations knowledge or experience that includes preparing wire transfers, processing stop payments, and maintaining customer information and privacy preferences.
-
Experience supporting branch banking services for consumer and small business customers related to notary services, receiving SCRA requests from representatives, and legal order processing.
-
Ability to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions.

Strong understanding of policies, procedures, and programs to ensure appropriate and effective risk mitigation controls are in place.

Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas.
-
Strong execution, influencing, and communication skills.
-
Ability to understand and operate successfully in a complex, heavily matrixed corporate environment.
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
