The Global Third Party Management (TPM) team is responsible for capturing and managing the aggregate risk that MetLife undertakes through its third party relationships. This work is critical for complying with multiple government regulations and for protecting MetLife's customers and brand reputation. As part of its modernization efforts, the Third Party Management team recently transformed how vendor risk is measured, tracked, and mitigated, and also migrated the workflow to a new SaaS platform.

Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $91,400 - $121,900. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.

- Serve as a subject matter expert for how MetLife manages the third party risk for US employees and stakeholders
- Support confidential and high priority requests to ensure comprehensive risk reviews are completed without disrupting business operations or strategic initiatives
- Engage with risk partners and other internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and improved efficiency
- Collaborate with other regional TPRM teams to ensure consistent experience and rigor to all third party engagements
- Track performance metrics to monitor the process performance and effectiveness
- Identify and champion enhancements to improve the TPRM user experience
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in third party management, operational risk, and/or procurement organizations
- Demonstrated success in leading multi-region programs and projects with operational impacts
- Experience in owning operating metrics related to delivery time, quality thresholds, and/or customer satisfaction
- Strategic mindset with an ability to balance risk and velocity
- Change agent with proven ability to drive execution
- Interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence partners
- Analytical and process skills with ability to interpret and utilize data to make decisions
- Strong communication skills
What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)
- 3+ years of experience at an insurance company or other financial services firm
- Knowledge of general risk and issue management frameworks
- Experience working with stakeholders at all levels
- Familiarity with TPRM platforms (Aravo, ServiceNow, OneTrust and/or other)
