About the Team
Our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) practice enables clients to achieve operational and financial excellence through advanced planning, forecasting, and profitability solutions. We partner with financial services and private markets clients to design and implement solutions that enhance financial decision-making through technology-driven transformation.
Role Overview
As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering technology-enabled transformations. You will leverage Anaplan to help clients reimagine their planning, reporting, and analysis processes. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients while mentoring junior consultants, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
You’ll lead or support delivery teams, collaborate with client stakeholders, and help build the Anaplan delivery capability within the EPM practice—bringing tailored solutions to the financial services and alternative investments sectors.
What You'll Do / Keys to Success:
- A Senior Consultant at Alpha FMC is a lead member of the team 
delivering components of client engagements that identify, design, and
implement technology and creative business solutions - Key responsibilities will include: 
- Lead with identification and formulation of business 
requirements, functional design, process design (including
scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training,
defining support procedures - Formulate planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting 
strategies - Participate through full life-cycle implementations
 - Lead client workshops for solution design and client education.
 - Provide mentorship to junior level staff
 
 - Lead with identification and formulation of business 
 
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4+ years of relevant consulting or relevant functional 
finance industry experience. - A minimum of 1 full life cycle Anaplan or similar EPM cloud technology 
implementation. - Hands-on functional experience and/or demonstrated proficiency in 
EPM-related business processes: Finance & Management reporting,
FP&A, Analytics. - Strong Excel literacy
 - Anaplan Certified Model Builders (Level I & Level II) or above
 - Passion for business analytics, modeling, and planning
 - Results-oriented, motivated, self-starter with an eagerness to learn 
new skillsets and technologies - Strong desire to excel and gain exposure to multiple industries while 
further developing your career - Strong communication skills with the ability to identify improvement 
opportunities in a client's operating model to execute more effectively 
Preferred/Desired Qualifications
- Experience in data analysis, financial analysis constructing analytical 
models based on historical and projected data - Anaplan Certified Model Builder Level II or Certified Solution Architect
 - 1+ years’ experience in management consulting
 - 3+ years’ experience in an industry role within private markets, real 
estate or broader financial services. - Advanced Microsoft Excel / financial modeling skills
 - Ability to think through complex problems and effectively 
communicate problems and potential solutions to the client and
colleagues - Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation 
skills (MS Word, MS PowerPoint) - Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to 
exercise mature judgment - Subject matter expertise in planning and modeling in Private Equity, 
Real Estate, Financial Services or Sales Compensation - Understanding of the other tools, processes and applications used by 
Private Equity, Real Estate, and Financial Services firms and their
clients - Ability to collaborate with clients

There are a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to - skill sets, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the salary range is $100,000 – $140,000 USD for US-based hires and $120,000 – $160,000 CAD for Toronto-based hires, subject to change based on salary benchmarking. In addition to this salary, candidates will be eligible for a variable bonus.
