The Senior Compliance Analyst position will report to the Compliance Manager.
As the Senior Compliance Analyst, you will:
- Be the go-to compliance partner and serve as the key liaison between business units, audit teams, and second line of defense to drive alignment and transparency.
- Lead the charge on compliance testing by executing the First Line of Defense (FLOD) plan, ensuring our controls are not just in place—but effective.
- Proactively spot and solve risk areas through in-depth reviews and assessments of business processes that keep us one step ahead of compliance issues.
- Own audit readiness and guide teams through federal and state exams, internal audits, and testing processes with confidence and clarity.
- Turn insights into action by analyzing results, delivering impactful reports, and recommending smart, strategic fixes that improve performance.
- Shape the policies that shape our business – collaborate on the development and rollout of clear, effective compliance policies that stick.
About You:
- 3–4+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, audit, or operational risk & controls within the consumer lending industry. In-depth knowledge of consumer lending laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements to business operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
Even Better:
- Certifications in regulatory compliance, audit, or risk management disciplines are encouraged but not required.
- Prior experience working as a federal or state consumer financial regulator is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience conducting compliance testing routines & supporting consumer financial services & products."
