The Senior Compliance Analyst will support regulatory compliance programs, conduct compliance testing, assist with examinations, and prepare regulatory documentation. The role requires extensive mortgage compliance knowledge.
The Company is growing and seeking a Senior (Sr.) Compliance Analyst to join its Compliance team. You’ll be responsible for supporting regulatory compliance programs, conducting compliance testing, and assisting with state and federal examinations. Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with state and federal regulations.
- Perform compliance testing, monitoring, and risk assessments across mortgage operations.
- Review, test, and correct HMDA data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support state and federal regulatory examinations and internal and external audits.
- Prepare regulatory responses, documentation, and remediation plans.
- Maintain components of the Compliance Management System (CMS).
- Manage NMLS licensing, renewals, and related regulatory filings.
- Assist with regulatory reporting, including the Mortgage Call Report (MCR).
- Monitor regulatory changes and partner with business teams to address compliance gaps.
- Additional duties and responsibilities assigned due to business needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- 5+ years of mortgage regulatory compliance experience required.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage regulations including HMDA, RESPA, TILA, ECOA, AML/BSA, and related laws.
- Experience supporting regulatory exams and audits.
- Proficiency with NMLS and compliance management systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
