Modivcare is looking for an experienced Senior Compensation Partner to join our team. This position requires a deep understanding of compensation strategy and design, labor market data, and the ability to collaborate with People & Culture, Finance, and business leaders to create competitive and equitable compensation structures. In addition to supporting enterprise-wide initiatives, this individual will serve as a dedicated business segment compensation partner, providing consultative guidance on compensation strategies, pay decisions, and market competitiveness.
This role…Ensures compliance with legal regulations and internal policies while helping to align compensation with the company’s long-term goals.
Designs, evaluates, and modifies compensation structures, including base salary, bonuses, incentives, and other programs.
Analyzes compensation data from salary surveys and other industry sources to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
Provides guidance to business leaders and executives on compensation-related matters, including compensation philosophy and practices.
Leads strategic analysis and review of compensation programs to optimize alignment with business objectives and market trends.
Creates and maintains compensation models to analyze cost implications and assist with financial forecasting.
Develops internal tools to track the effectiveness of compensation programs in attracting, motivating, and retaining teammates.
Monitors the company’s compensation programs and drives governance processes to ensure consistency, equity, and compliance across all business segments.
Oversees design, testing, and administration of Workday Advanced Compensation processes (merit and bonus).
Serves as the system subject matter expert (SME), ensuring data integrity, process efficiency, and continuous optimization of compensation-related functionality.
Designs and delivers compensation program communications and training, equipping P&C Business Partners with the knowledge and best practices to ensure consistent application.
Acts as the primary compensation partner for a business segment, advising leadership on compensation-related decisions and strategy.
Conducts job evaluations, market pricing, and pay equity analyses to ensure competitive and fair compensation programs.
Supports commission and incentive plan design, implementation, and governance.
Leads complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring deliverables are on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Leads or supports compensation-related projects, policy development, and committee materials.
Represents the team in cross-functional meetings and provides coverage as needed.
May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources or related field required.
Seven (7) plus years of executive, broad-based, or sales compensation experience required.
Compensation (CCP) and/or Global Remuneration (GRP) certification preferred or working toward attaining accreditation.
Experience in compensation design, pay equity analysis, and market benchmarking.
Healthcare industry experience highly preferred.
Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation experience required.
Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with experience using data to drive decision-making.
Advanced Excel, data analysis, and visualization skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior executives.
Knowledge of compensation structures, incentive plans, and benefits tailored for senior leadership roles.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strategic thinking, with the ability to align compensation strategies with the organization’s goals and financial capabilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to distill complex data into easily understood, actionable insights.
Strategic perspective with tactical implementation skills.
Ability to innovate new solutions, influencing and responding to change.
Quick to execute ad hoc projects and adapt to change.
Ability to build strong relationships and work cross-functionally with all levels within the organization.
Demonstrates consistent discretion in handling confidential information.
Comprehensive knowledge of EEO, FLSA, and other regulations required.
Keeps abreast of current trends in compensation strategies.
Advanced compensation knowledge required, including compliance with any state and/or federal laws and regulatory factors that impact compensation practices.
Salary: $110,000 - $160,000
Bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.
