  • Stakeholder Communication: Clearly and concisely communicate technical concepts and issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Diagramming and Visualization: Create and maintain clear and accurate diagrams illustrating infrastructure and architectural designs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement within our platform.

  • Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, preferably AWS CloudFormation and CDK.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes, ideally with Amazon EKS.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with GitOps methodologies and tools, particularly Flux CD.
  • Experience implementing and utilizing observability platforms, with preference for Splunk Observability Cloud (or similar tools like Datadog, New Relic).
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like GitHub Actions.
  • Experience troubleshooting applications running in various AWS services (EKS, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda).
  • Familiarity with CDN and WAF solutions, with knowledge of Akamai being a significant advantage.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and security best practices in a cloud environment.
  • Experience with scalable architectures, cloud platforms, and transactional applications.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on impact-driven decision-making.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Ability to create and maintain clear and concise infrastructure and architecture diagram (e.g., using tools like Lucidchart, draw.io).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • A proactive and continuous learning mindset.
