A Day in the Life:
This is a hunter role where you’ll be challenged to think big, act fast, and win often. As a Client Executive, you’ll take full ownership of developing new business and growing accounts, working closely with revenue and delivery teams to ensure long-term success.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities that expand Sparq’s market share.
 - Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects and convert them into multi-million-dollar partnerships.
 - Partner with sales and marketing to build tailor made campaigns to drive new business development activities.
 - Attend events, conferences and entertainment venues as well as industry events.
 - Navigate procurement processes, ensuring contracts are smart, fair, and favorable.
 - Bring creativity and insight to proposals that highlight Sparq’s expertise in AI, big data, and product-led transformation.
 - Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver seamless execution and client satisfaction.
 
What it takes:
- 5-8 years of technology sales experience (Client Executive) or 8+ years (Sr. Client Executive).
 - Proven track record of success in competitive, quota-driven environments where you are selling productized solutions and implementation services.
 - Experience selling to senior technology and product leaders (CIO, CTO, VP/Director of Engineering or Product).
 - Familiarity with selling data and AI enterprise software, digital engineering, app development and custom development solutions as well complex headcount programs.
 - Knowledgeable or past history working with technology such as OpenAI, AWS, Google, Snowflake, Microsoft, Databricks, Palantir etc
 - Curiosity and comfort with emerging technologies like AI, product strategy, and big data, data lake/data warehousing
 - Strong regulated industry acumen i.e Manufacturing, finance, transportation, life sciences etc
 - Strong communication skills and the ability to influence decision-makers.
 - Entrepreneurial mindset: resourceful, motivated, thrives under pressure, and ready to prove yourself.
