The Global Partner GTM, Programs, & Operations (GPO) organization within GCPS brings together the go-to-market strategy, programs, and platforms to accelerate growth and improve partner experience across all partner segments.

The Channel Commerce Strategy & Enablement team is looking for a Senior Channel Commerce Analyst to lead and enable the required reporting and analytics of the Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP) authorization ecosystem. This role is critical to ensure we have accurate and timely insights to evolve and transform the impact of this channel. This role works in partnership with Commercial Engineering and AI teams, operations and program compliance teams to determine preferred factors and/or data types/frameworks to include in the evaluation of business, and/or operational decisions that will provide the most relevant assessment of impact.

Establishes and leverages working relationships within and across teams to ensure quality data sources, methodologies, and analytical tools and processes; driving their adoption to address business needs and deliver key insights and results. Drives the implementation of methods that create efficiency in core work related to analytics and reporting that are reusable, readily discoverable, self-service, and directed to meaningful interpretation of data that drive business decisions and impact across teams in support of the CSP authorization evolution strategy and execution, including recommending program improvements to achieve strong partner satisfaction and growth of the CSP channel contribution.

As this role will work alongside many stakeholders, it will require a balance of leadership and influence skills to support the broader strategic and insights needs of the team.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis

Leads execution of analyses, resolve analytical challenges, interpret results, address business questions with actionable insights, identify tools and reports gaps and recommend improvements to Commerce Engineering and AI teams.

Evaluation

Determines preferred factors and/or data types/frameworks , anticipate risks, synthesize across evaluation outcomes and recommend actions to meet strategic goals.

Expertise in Data

Establishes themselves as an expert in data types and sources, address gaps and quality issues with data providers, collaborate with data engineers, understands and ensures governance and security (encryption, role restrictions) of reports and insights in alignment with policies.

Improvement, Efficiency, and Innovation

Drives standardization, scalable insights, ensuring insights and reports are reusable, discoverable and self-serviced. Evaluate opportunities for automation (including leveraging AI).

Orchestration and Collaboration

Builds strong cross-team relationships to promote quality data, methodologies, and analytical tools; encourages their use to meet business needs and provide insights. Shares expertise and proven resources to support analysis, reporting, and results interpretation.

Presentation of Results

Develops and guides others' work on presentations of analyses, including dashboards, reports, data visualizations, self-service platforms, slides, and talking points that synthesize insights into a story that influences senior stakeholders' decision making and drives business outcomes. Improve efficiency of reporting and presentations.

Understanding the Business

Link impact of internal/external trends on the business to proactively identify and address business concerns, translate stakeholders’ needs into technical requirements to develop appropriate solutions with Commerce Engineering and AI teams.

 


Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
    • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Understanding of channel partner ecosystem, preferably Cloud Solutions Providers.
  • Demonstrated organizational, planning, and analytical expertise, with the ability to analyze and interpret business performance metrics
  • Proven cross-group coordination across all levels, organizational and analytical skills, the ability to work independently and take initiative to drive projects forward, the ability to deal with ambiguity and provide structure for others. 
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, attention to detail, an ability to work effectively under pressure and within short time constraints, resourcefulness and able to deal with ambiguity, prioritize while multi-tasking and maintain flexibility in the performance of the job responsibilities. Embracing change is essential.  
  • Ensures organizational readiness for business demands and meets challenging timelines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to interact confidently with senior leaders in a highly-matrixed organization to present/defend/clarify concerns or issues regarding an existing project, program, or solution. This includes the ability to confidently address difficult questions, handle pushback from a high-level audience, and maintain an executive demeanour while engaging in challenging or sometimes high-pressure situations

Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
