The requirements of the role are:
The base salary range for this position is $122,000 to $167,750; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays, and vacation time. Responsibilities:
Category Strategy & Development:
- Identify headroom for growth, setting strategic targets on category share & channel distribution across the Hu & Enjoy Life portfolios.
- Define category & competitive landscape informing brand x category. roadmap for both annual planning and multi-year planning.
- Assess consumption performance v. in-year & longer-term roadmaps.
- Identify future fit categories in partnership with innovation team.
- Support channel & customer development (CCD) team in delivering category toolkits & influencing MAPs strategy.
Category Insights & Research:
- Set category learning objectives & required budgets in concert with Category Insights Manager (CIM), Insights & Analytics partners (I&A), and Brand team.
- Deliver regular category reporting to North America & North American Ventures businesses to illustrate brand priorities & latest learnings.
- Utilize & prioritize suite of tools developed by CIM to identify gaps & opportunities for strengthening category x brand insights.
Category Team Leader:
- Ensure category team delivers on proper tracking to key metrics with robust reporting on category trends, competitive brand performance, consumer trends, customer performance.
- Support CIM in refreshing & expanding master selling story in support of category reviews.
- Unlock cross-team communication to ensure alignment of objectives, research, and budgets across broader sales x brand x I&A teams.
- Oversee team priorities & goal setting, support day-to-day management of category team, foster growth & development within category team.
The requirements of the role are:
- Dynamic, hands-on leader with demonstrated success as both a top-performing CPG salesperson and as a leader on winning teams.
- Deep understanding of Nielsen & Spins with the ability to develop a category story and key KPIs to outperform category growth.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing category insights and long-term strategy growth.
- Self-starter with the ability to take insights from data and put them to action in conjunction with RGM team.
- Extensive experience developing and executing highly impactful selling strategies.
- Adept at fostering strong partnerships with sales, marketing and RGM to develop a cohesive strategy that meets all company objectives.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office and excel.
