The Senior Business Program & Operations Manager is a key partner to Growth and Platform Solutions, accountable for driving complex, cross-functional initiatives critical to Workiva's growth and innovation. 

The role blends strong business acumen and operational discipline to translate strategy into clear, predictable execution. You will partner with GTM leaders to define problems and align stakeholders to drive operational programs for elevated commercial outcomes. 

Success in this role requires experienced strategic judgment and an anticipatory instinct that help you influence stakeholders, build alignment, and structure work for high-velocity, GTM-driven innovation in the SaaS industry.

What You’ll Do
  • Strong Business Acumen & Influence: Quickly acquire a deep understanding of Workiva's business model, product portfolio, and financial drivers to ensure transformation efforts are commercially sound and strategically aligned. Demonstrate the initiative to start projects with minimal information and drive them to business-impacting outcomes. Establish strong, consultative internal and external partnerships, influencing through earned trust, expertise, and clarity to build consensus and collaboration. Partner with leaders across Growth and Platform Solutions to clarify problems, define desired outcomes, and build aligned execution plans

  • Execution Accountability and Cross-Solution Collaboration: Own and drive high-priority, cross-functional initiatives at an aggressive pace, ensuring clear scope and ownership, and managing complex transformation across multiple Solutions and GTM teams for effective organizational landing

  • Adaptive Leadership & Operational Rigor: Apply an adaptive approach (orchestrator, facilitator, problem solver, change lead) to guide teams, remove obstacles, and ensure successful outcomes, while maintaining project rigor by proactively monitoring progress, resolving conflicts, and facilitating key stakeholder decisions

  • GTM and Change Enablement: Strengthen the pace and alignment of execution across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and other functions by applying practical SaaS revenue engine expertise to inform scalable, growth-focused operating models and support their continued evolution

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional experience across GTM

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consultative Business Acumen & Strategic Problem Solving: Experience delivering results in a highly consultative capacity, quickly comprehending complex SaaS business models, GTM processes, and financial data. Effective negotiator and creative problem solver who builds consensus and influences outcomes with executive and cross-functional stakeholder

  • Organizational Change & Executive Communication: Proven skills in managing organizational change and transformational initiatives, including the active adoption of AI and Generative tools. Superior, executive-level written and verbal communication skills to rapidly distill complex information into clear, professional content

  • Pace, Proficiency & Adaptability: Proven drive to manage a high-pressure, cross-functional portfolio, maintaining an aggressive pace and deep expertise in formal program and project methodologies. Must be adaptable to shifting priorities and proactively drive changes in scope and requirements

  • Extensive experience in GTM functions and an orchestration-type or business consulting type role, preferred

  • MBA or Master’s degree in a related field, preferred

Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% for team and company meetings

  • Reliable internet access for remote work when not in a Workiva office

How You’ll Be Rewarded

✅ Salary range in the US: $149,000.00 - $238,000.00

✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually

✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
