As a Senior Business Development Manager for Credit Karma, you will take ownership of important relationships in Credit Karma’s largest vertical. You'll own, develop, and deepen strategic relationships with key credit card partners including banks and fin-techs. You'll have a significant impact on company growth, and work with an amazing team in a member-oriented, mission-driven environment.  This role will report into the Director of Partnerships and own key partnerships. 

What you'll do:
  • You will lead communications with main strategic partnerships to drive growth 
  • You will use internal and external data to develop business recommendations for our partners and Credit Karma
  • You will deepen our relationship with partners through key product integrations 
  • Build business cases and interact and negotiate with c-suite stakeholders at our partners 
  • You will implement cross-functional initiatives alongside Product, Engineering, Design and Marketing teams while multi-tasking different requests
  • You will onboard and grow new strategic partners to better serve our members and create new opportunities and revenue streams.
What we are looking for:
  • 8+ years of business experience in business development, partnerships, consulting or investment banking (MBA or related Master's degree is preferred)
  • Passion for building great products and advancing Credit Karma's mission
  • Thrive in ambiguity -- requires minimal oversight and can thoughtfully develop recommended approaches to complex problems
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills - can analyze and synthesize data to support strategies and communications
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in written form to be able to communicate ideas, negotiations and solutions with our strategic partners. Also have the ability and comfort to know when and how to say "no" to partners
  • Credit card or lending experience is a bonus, but not required
