Summary:

The Senior Business Development Executive will execute on strategic initiatives to grow YA’s Property Services business. This role is responsible for identifying high-value opportunities, cultivating relationships with insurance adjusters, claims managers, and industry stakeholders, and driving revenue across service lines including Building Consulting (BC) and Engineering Services (ES). The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, a strong professional network, and a proven track record of business development success.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand YA’s Property Services portfolio in a dedicated region.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with insurance adjusters, claims managers, and decision-makers across carriers and firms.
  • Partner with regional leaders and technical leads to align business development efforts with operational capabilities.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with operations to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Work with experts across building consulting and engineering to ensure effective execution of initial assignments.
  • Represent YA at industry events, trade association meetings, and networking functions.
  • Drive account expansion strategies and identify cross-selling opportunities across BC and ES service lines.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM to ensure pipeline management, reporting, and forecasting for regional growth.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and regional leaders to refine target outreach campaigns.
  • Additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field or equivalent years of experience required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, client relationship management, or sales within the insurance or professional services consulting industries?
  • Demonstrated success in securing and growing high-value client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of property insurance claims processes and insurance industry dynamics.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven business development practices.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams and disciplines.
