Euromonitor is the global leader in strategic market research, and we are looking for sharp, dynamic, experienced professionals who want an intellectually rewarding challenge in a sales/business development function to join our team. This role is based in our Chicago office, working with our corporate new business territories in North America.


In this role, you will develop new relationships with some of our highest potential customers across industries. The purpose of the role is to identify critical business needs, establish our right to win, and build partnerships at the senior-most levels of some of the biggest companies in the world. You’ll interface internally with senior leadership across our research and consulting functions to bring best-fit, enterprise-wide solutions to your customers and be a thought leader for the sales organization more broadly.

Your role at Euromonitor:
  • Develop short- and long-term account-based sales strategies via diagnosis of corporate-wide needs and knowledge gaps
  • Deftly engage multiple internal and external stakeholders in the sales process to shorten sales cycles
  • Pitch and win high-dollar, broadly applicable, future-proofed solutions
  • Normalize selling at the highest levels of Fortune 500 companies
  • Break into uptapped industries and/or customers via sophisticated consultative sales strategies and tactics, finding a “right to win” for Euromonitor
  • Build presence (Euromonitor brand) to open doors across given territory, by thoughtfully leveraging internal resources (industry leaders, as well as tools and marketing resources)
  • Challenge conventional thinking about Euromonitor’s product suite and sales process to improve outcomes
  • Proactively share best practices to improve team-wide outcomes and significantly contribute to a high-performing sales culture
Requirements
  • An experienced sales, market and/or business development professional
  • Someone who has proven success building networks and selling into senior leadership (C-suite or equivalent) at large, multinational corporations
  • Well-versed in building sales strategy and executing it end-to-end
  • Has owned and independently managed complex sales processes and negotiations
  • Practiced in proactively sharing their experience and best practices internally to influence and improve team and organizational outcomes
  • Experienced working cross functionally with multiple internal stakeholders to identify skills, resources and that have helped refine, adapt and expedite the sales processes

At Euromonitor International, we are committed to transparency and pay equity.  Pursuant to Illinois law, we provide salary range and benefit info on all job postings based in our Chicago office.  The base salary range for this role is $95,000 to $110,000, based on experience and qualifications.  Alongside Salary, we offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance options, 401k, paid time off, hybrid work set up, core hours and other perks to support a positive work environment.
