The Role:
As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at adMarketplace, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the way we use data to drive strategic decisions. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and operations to deliver actionable insights and develop scalable data solutions. Your expertise will help uncover growth opportunities, improve product performance, and optimize advertiser and publisher experiences.
What You'll Do:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of BI dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Looker or Power BI.
  • Translate business questions into data-driven insights by querying large datasets (SQL) and performing deep-dive analysis.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, monitor performance, and recommend actionable strategies.
  • Identify and investigate trends and anomalies in campaign performance, user engagement, and revenue metrics.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to improve data models and pipelines that support accurate and scalable reporting..
  • Drive A/B test analysis, experimental design, and post-campaign performance reviews to support product innovation and business growth.
  • Advocate for data literacy across the organization through storytelling, visualization, and education.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Analysis
  • Strong experience collaborating with business stakeholders to drive insights
  • Expertise in Tableau: building dashboards, creating visualizations, and presenting insights
  • Strong SQL skills: querying large datasets from Databricks, writing and modifying SQL for reporting and ad-hoc analysis
  • Data analysis & storytelling: ability to interpret data and provide business recommendations
  • Experience working with Databricks or other cloud-based data warehouses
  • Experience working in ad-tech or e-commerce is a plus
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Python, ETL, or data engineering concepts


*Compensation Range: $110,000 - $130,000

*This range represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of adMarketplace in the New York office. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
