The Role

We are seeking a Sr. Audit Manager for a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to work with clients in a variety of industries such as Non-Profit, Small Business, Construction, Real Estate, Retail, Education and more. The ideal candidate is eager for professional growth and have substantial experience conducting audits within public accounting. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be team-oriented, and thrive with direct client interaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively plan and execute assurance engagements.
  • Identify business process risks and develop recommendations based on audits.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance audit efficiency and overall department operations.
  • Optimize workflows, refine methodologies, and contribute to the strategic growth of the audit department.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the operational development of the audit function.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and clients.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate staff on client engagements.
  • Organize and monitor progress of client engagement in relation to budgets and due dates.
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships.
  • Function as communication channel between senior leadership, clients, and staff. 

Required Qualifications

  • CPA
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field    
  • 7+ years of experience carrying out audit methodologies & techniques within public accounting
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP guidelines 
  • Non-Profit and/or Construction industry experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience overseeing, training, and mentoring staff
  • Ability to build and manage relationships internally and externally
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance audit efficiency and operations
  • Ability to optimize workflows and contribute to the strategic growth of the audit department
  • Strong operational mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and team development
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent work ethic and a sense of humor are a must!

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in performing Uniform Guidance, Yellow Book, Single Audits or/and Employee Benefit Plan audits
