What You'll Do
- Drive Individual Disability Insurance sales across an assigned territory by partnering with General Office leadership, Sales Managers and agents to develop and execute sales strategies that achieve or exceed production goals.
- Deliver product training, sales coaching and business development support through individual and group sessions, helping agents and General Office teams build knowledge and confidence in IDI solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Managing Partners, General Office leadership, internal disability wholesalers and Home Office business partners to support coordinated sales execution and market growth.
- Monitor sales activity, maintain accurate CRM records, prepare regular field activity reports and manage territory planning, expenses and special sales initiatives to support business objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between agents, field leadership, Zone teams and Home Office partners, ensuring effective communication, issue resolution and alignment on priorities.
What You'll Bring
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in insurance sales, wholesaling or financial services.
- Life and Health Insurance license required, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance marketplace, disability insurance products and competitive offerings, with the ability to effectively position solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships, influence sales outcomes and collaborate effectively with agents, field leadership and cross-functional business partners.
- Excellent communication, presentation, organization and relationship management skills, with the ability to manage a territory requiring approximately 50% travel.
Preferred Skills
- FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 licenses.
- Industry designations such as CLU, ChFC, CLTC, DIA, DIF or similar professional certifications.
- Experience delivering sales training, coaching or wholesaling support within a career agency distribution model.
- Experience using CRM tools to manage sales activity, pipeline and reporting.
