Role Overview:
New York Life's Wealth Management Solutions department is comprised of NYLIFE Securities LLC (broker-dealer) and Eagle Strategies LLC. Eagle Strategies provides retail investment advisory services through about 1,250 affiliated investment advisor representatives (IARs) and more than $20B in assets under management (AUM). Eagle IARs provide comprehensive investment advisory and financial planning capabilities. Through our "protection first" planning philosophy and backed by solutions that leverage New York Life's financial strength and mutuality, our advisors can tailor a plan to help their clients reach their long-term goals and withstand unforeseen fluctuations through insurance, annuities, brokerage (including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and specialty asset classes), and other products.
We believe the best financial solutions are built when an advisor has a thorough understanding of their clients' current financial picture and their short- and long-term goals. Our advisors assess their clients' needs and identify appropriate solutions that put their clients on a path toward achieving their financial dreams and aspirations over the client's lifetime- from wealth-building to retirement to legacy.
What You'll Do:
  • Assist inbound callers with prospect development requests (proposals, positioning, etc.)
  • Make proactive sales calls daily with advisers to strengthen relationships and find opportunities
  • Generate proposals and coach advisers on how to present to prospective clients.
  • Educate Advisers on the various programs and money managers available on the platform
  • Conduct webinars and/or other presentations on content ranging from skills to product education and proposal creation
  • Drive Home Office campaigns (call Advisers to educate them on new offerings and help identify sales opportunities in their existing books of business)
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Advisers in their territory
  • Manage activity via our contact management system
  • Drive sales of the wealth management managed money platforms
  • Facilitate the transition of inbound callers to service, large case specialists, practice management specialists, or the portfolios specialist based on client and adviser need

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of financial services experience
  • Proven ability to pay attention to detail and multitask
  • Knowledge of capital markets
  • Series 7 & 66 are required (63 & 65 are preferred but can be acquired after hire)

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
Please note: This role requires FINRA licensed and/or FINRA Associated Person pre-hire fingerprinting.
