Senior Associate, African American Market Field Director

Role Overview:
African American Market Field Directors are responsible for the execution of programs aimed at growing the Company's market share within the African American market segments. Field Directors will work collaboratively with their counterparts to facilitate the company's expansion in the African American community, working within a team of devoted professionals (remote resources), to execute programs/processes that target and grow our position within key market segments.
What You'll Do:• Center of Influence (CI) development: Identify and engage local/regional CIs• Help develop strategic Points of Access (POAs) with regional and national organizations• General Office (GO) Training: with a focus on NYL's Protection First Holistic Advice and Guidance (PFHA&G) processes, MBS Macro Balance Strategy framework, and tools• Assist in facilitating strategic connectivity with other Field Resource Teams.• Webinars: Organize and host regular webinars focused on driving productivity • Sourcing Mentors: Aid the Agent Mentor Program (AMP) by identifying potential mentors and encouraging engagement by Field Managers • Financial Education: Assist the Financial Education Workshop strategies by acting as an instructor in Financial Education seminars• Work with Field management teams and agents in key General Offices to identify and develop strong relationships within their communities and cultivate growth opportunities.
What You'll Bring:• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience• Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience• Required licenses: Life, Health, Series 6, and 63• Requires thorough knowledge of Life Insurance sales and recruiting/sales management systems, specifically of the career agency model. • Individual must have a thorough understanding of the marketing, prospecting, and recruiting techniques necessary to penetrate/grow market segments. • Must also know the sales cycle, core processes, program, and tools within the Agency environment.• Travel is required.

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $77,500 - $95,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
Please note: This role requires FINRA licensed and/or FINRA Associated Person pre-hire fingerprinting.
