Senior Application Developer
Location: Remote.
Employment Type: Full-time.
Salary Range: $125,000 – $130,000.
Program OverviewThe Senior Application Developer will be responsible for authoring and maintaining data transmission APIs within the MuleSoft development framework, ensuring secure and reliable integrations across enterprise systems. This role includes analyzing traffic patterns for system health, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with business stakeholders to deliver product changes.
The position requires strong knowledge of data transmission schemes, API development, and application programming, with additional expertise in low-code/no-code platforms, Agile delivery, and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform development.
Duties of a Senior Application Developer may include but are not limited to:Developing data transmission APIs using the MuleSoft framework.
Analyzing system traffic patterns to monitor performance and health.
Coordinating with business stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Supporting product change requests and enhancements through software development best practices.
Designing and implementing integrations leveraging HTTP, SMTP, TLS, proxies, and web APIs.
Creating process automation solutions using low-code/no-code BPMN tools such as Appian, Salesforce, or Nintex.
Supporting Agile and hybrid low-code application development methodologies.
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong understanding of data transmission schemes (HTTP, SMTP, TLS, proxies, web APIs).
Proficiency in at least one programming language: JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#/.NET, Python, SQL, or C++.
Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) supporting low-code/no-code platforms.
Knowledge of Agile and hybrid application development processes.
Experience in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform development.
IT-II Security Clearance or current NACLC.
DoD 8570 Baseline Certification: IAT Level I.
MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (required within 6 months of hire).
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.
