Job Summary
The Senior Mobile Developer will join the Mobile Engineering team at LPL Financial and help develop the next generation mobile apps for LPL’s financial advisors. You will be part of a highly skilled Agile development team where everyone has a voice and helps shape the future of our products. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute ideas and solutions to technical challenges as well as mentor junior developers on the team.
Responsibilities
• Design and implement new features for existing applications while maintaining high code quality and following coding standards
• Troubleshoot production issues related to performance and stability
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high value functionality to users
• Provide technical leadership by making smart tradeoffs in complex situations
• Help drive decisions that move projects forward quickly and efficiently
• Create technical designs for new initiatives and ensure they meet the needs of our end users
• Stay current on industry trends and new technologies
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 7 years of experience developing native iOS and/or Android applications using Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C
• Passion for Test automation and improving engineering practices.

• Having capability to introduce change in build processes, experience with Git, Jenkins

• Experience in integrating with REST/JSON services.

• Experience leading small teams of developers and guiding them through the software development process
• Blend towards innovation, using & introducing new features with technology & language improvements.

• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to balance multiple competing priorities simultaneously without compromising quality
• Experience working within an Agile environment preferred
• Self-motivated individual who takes pride in writing high quality code
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change


 

Pay Range:

$106,125-$176,875/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
