Scopely is looking for a Senior Analytics Manager to join our Monopoly Go! team in the US on a remote basis.

Monopoly GO! is our new casual game and a key franchise that has just become one of Scopely’s largest games enjoyed by millions of players. The team is based in Europe and the US, and works every day to create captivating new experiences for our players.

What You Will Do

As Sr. Manager, you will lead a team responsible for partnering with Product in making impactful data-driven decisions. Responsibilities include:

  • Foster a high-performance culture, leading analysts delivering multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mentor and coach both new and experienced analytics colleagues in the development of their skills and sophisticated business problem resolution.
  • Work in close partnership with Product stakeholders to build the data and analytics strategy of a big portion of the business.
  • Demonstrate creative ability to recommend narratives & visualizations of data that empower key stakeholders to easily interpret complex information and quickly identify key insights.
  • Partner with Data Science, Marketing Analytics, and Player Research teams to provide holistic and sophisticated insights.
  • Investigate and implement new analytics methods & tools to support the needs of the business
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to ensure data accessibility and reliability.
  • Manage & grow a large library of analytics content for key internal customers including Product, Marketing and Finance.

What We’re Looking For 

  • People who can interpret information clearly and accurately to concisely communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders, senior management, and their teams
  • BS or MS in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Finance, Statistics or Computer Science, or other analytical discipline
  • Validated experience as a manager/leader of data analytics, applying statistical analysis to B2C consumer behaviors (at least several years in video gaming)
  • Experience leading peers through end-to-end data analytics projects (e.g. from problem and requirements definition to code/model validation and reporting deployment) required
  • Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and drive to complete projects
  • Experience using SQL, including complex queries from multiple data sources
  • Experience creating, operating and analyzing multiple simultaneous A/B tests
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including extensive use of chart and table tools
  • Ability to understand and act on changing priorities, and implement multiple challenging projects based on business case and expected impact
  • Strong experience with data and BI presentation tools (Looker, Tableau, …)
  • A passion for making players enjoy world class mobile, social and casual game

For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY, and WA, the annual salary range is provided below. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
