Wells Fargo's Financial Crimes Operations (FCO) is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant to join the FCO Insights & Intelligence Center. This role will help establish and integrate performance metrics with process evaluation to drive strategic resource planning, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure transparency across FCO. The role will apply multi-source data analysis to evaluate business performance and uncover opportunities for process innovation and operational enhancement. Lastly, deliver high-impact reporting and insights that support strategic decision-making, enable rapid response to business needs, and ensure alignment across FCO through prioritized analytics.

In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive metrics to evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency, and consistency of FCO business processes.
- Establish transparency between performance metrics, capacity planning, and financial alignment to enable data-informed resource allocation and strategic planning.
- Conduct business process analysis to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and areas for performance improvement.
- Recommend and drive enhancements to business processes informed by analytical findings.
- Promote the responsible adoption of Generative AI technologies as collaborative partners for enhancing analysis, decision-making, and automation.
- Participate in development, and testing, for new FCO production reports, when engaged for assistance ensuring integrity, usability, and business alignment.
- Fulfill high-priority, ad-hoc reporting requests and rapid-response data searches.
- Make recommendations or decisions on highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area and activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (product managers, technology developers, testers, end-users, and senior management) to measure and analyze performance, solicit performance data and feedback, and drive improvements.
- Performs data mining from large, complex and multiple data sources using various tools, including SAS, SQL, Python, Alteryx and others of multiple data sources to perform analysis, modeling and/or comparative analysis.
- Partners in the development of moderately complex dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and/or Power BI, attaching to multiple sources, tiered levels of security and data sets from varied sources and sizes.

Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- Experience with partnering and collaborating across lines of business and with operations to deploy prevention and detection strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to create documentation of process flows, business analysis and metadata, and conduct root cause analysis.
- 2+ years of SAS, SQL, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of BSA/AML programs, including Client Screening (PEP, Negative News, Sanctions, etc.), CDD, KYC, CIP, transaction monitoring, and enhanced due diligence.
- Demonstrated data visualization experience using a BI Tool e.g., Tableau, Microsoft BI, etc.
- Strong experience drafting business proposals with visuals that tell the story
- Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to collaborate with others, work independently, initiate action, and accept challenging assignments.
- Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable and actionable information.
- Experience with AI tools to develop analytic solutions to complex business problems.
- Ability to translate complex technical needs into straightforward requests for information and collaboration, working with a wide range of people.
- Hybrid work model of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote each week.
